I did tell Pycno I was going to do a training for men and would ask them to dance. And here they are doing a dance. The wordings they are singing,
Allah Allah kami datang, Nabi Muhamad ikutan kami.
And the part about looking into each other's eyes:Renungan mata tajam dan ikhlas tanda ukhuwah dan kasih sayang!

hehehe some sort of hadrah?
*wink wink*
seems lovely though...
just had a heavy duty discussion about sufism with a friend... I basically told her tasawwuf is good... it's just some people may give it a bad name, or that sufis have received their unfair share of bad press.
hmmm the things I manage to do in between experiments...
Allah Allah kami datang... labbaik Allahumma labbaik! Very seasonal. :)
Yes , you got it!The dance actually removes blocks and moves energy as well as puts down barriers if only the men will allow it ! And yes sempena Haj! Labaikallahumma Labaik!
Cant imagine my hubby doing it though!! :))
Drroza, I dont mind doing the 'renung-merenung tanda ukhuwah dan kasih sayang' with ikelah, for I know that I will not find it too difficult to like him.
However Nurelhuda, I will be very honest with you here....There is this Ustaz that I know, and honest to goodness, I have tried SO hard to like him...ask Bea if you dont believe me, tapi tak boleh. I always believe in giving benefit of the doubt to people, but with THIS Ustaz, God knows how many times I've tried...and you guess it right...I'VE FAILED EVERY TIME and thus HAVE GIVEN UP!!
To cut a long story short,I dont like EVERYTHING about him.
So, that would be a REAL challenge, eh?....to dance with your enemy hingga timbul rasa ikhlas dalam berkasih-sayang....what I'm afraid of is...kena penumbuk dan penampar sebelum lagu berakhir !!!!! ;))
I wonder what the trainer is going to do??...;)))
hehehe- I can't imagine Pycno and the Ustaz getting into a fight whilst evryone is engrossed in the dance!! Kelakar rasanye!
p.s..Why is it when ladies hold hands its very ok but its always not accceptable when men do that?
I actually admire the men in the pic for getting rid of their inhibitions. :)
Pycno, I tried to imagine doing the dance next to my least favourite person at the moment... err yeah although I don't actually want to get physical, I could actually feel a solid tar-like substance on my heart. Heh. I would try to get as far as possible from this person kot if I think I wouldn't be able to handle it.
But the best would actually be to grin and bear it. Mana tahu, it might be actually beneficial to chant in your heart while you are dancing: 'ya Allah, please do not cause people to dislike me as I dislike him. And thank you for not creating me like he is. Maybe he is not so bad aftr all?'
Hehehehehehe... entahle.
DITH.. maybe it's a reaction to all the effeminate men out there. Is it my imagination, but are there actually more of them nowadays? I don't mean 'gentlemen', just those who are very mengada-ngada ie put it on.
Nurelhuda.. are we gonna have one at the next Bloggers Meet? :D I wanna expand my horizons..
Why don t men hold hands? It is cultural cos when I was in Egypt the men there have no problems holding hands while walking even.
I am pretty sure Pycno's ustaz would not be caught dead dancing so he does not have to worry having to dance with the ustaz.
One of the things we learnt during the training was about giving up hate and dendam in our hearts and noticing what negative effects hate has on the heart and how giving it up is not for that person but for our own good!
I keep using the example of Sayidina Ali refusing to kill a man during a war after the man spit in his face. When the man asked why Sayidina Ali said that he was about to kill the man in the way of God but when the man spit he was angry and hated the man and did not want to act out of hatred and anger so stopped himself from killing the fellow.
