She wants to go for Haj!

The old lady who entered my room was stooping. She obviously has osteoporosis of the spine. She did not come for help with her health at all. She came to ask me if I could help her find some institution to care for her son of 20 who is mentally retarded as she wanted to perform her Haj. She has no one to turn to she says she and her son are the only members of the family left. I did not have the time to investigate further it being a rather busy morning and I gave my secretary the job of making inquiries.
As it turns out , the Social Welfare department does not have any provsions for temporary care and asked her to approach private institutions but does not have any referal number to give. Looks like I have to do some homework to find out more about such places.
I finally told her to ask around for someone she could hire to take care of her son and as a final offering I told her , if she could not go because of having to take care of her son, Allah understands and she is not obliged to go...but will that soothe her heart felt longing to perform the Haj?
